You will complete three different child abuse training modules and will receive a separate certificate of completion for each module. Make sure to download a copy of each certificate and save it to your computer as you receive it because you will be required to submit all three certificates to your assignment dropbox.

Instructions:

• Go to the California Department of Social Services Child Abuse Training website:Links to an external site.
• Click “Register/Sign in”.
• Click the Sign Up button to register your account by following the directions provided. It is recommended that you use your WCU Email address.
• After you have completed registration, complete the following modules and download the certificates of completion:
  • Medical Professionals: 4 hours (2 hours general + 2 hours medical)
  • School Personnel: 1.5 hours
  • Volunteers: 2 hours
• After you have completed all three modules and earned your certificates, submit the certificates to this assignment.

Please note: Registration for the CDSS website and the creation of an account are required in order to earn the certificates of completion. If you do not have an account yet, choose the link to Sign Up for an account and follow the instructions to complete your registration.
